Kwanzaa was created in 1966 by Dr. Maulana Karenga. Kwanzaa is a non-religious pan African American holiday that is globally celebrated from December 26 through January 1st. Kwanzaa celebrates African American family, community, culture, history, and heritage.

Each night a candle is lit to celebrate one principle of the Nguzo Saba (The Seven Principles) - unity (Umoja), self-determination (Kujichagulia), collective work and responsibility (Ujima), cooperative economics (Ujamaa), purpose (Nia), creativity (Kuumba), and faith (Imani). Kwanzaa culminates in a feast, libation pouring in remembrance of Ancestors, and gift giving.

Common gifts that align with the spirit of Kwanzaa include:

If you prefer to use your own Fedex, USPS, or UPS account for shipping, please let us know. The minimum order quantity to qualify for a wholesale bulk discount is 10 items of the same item and MPN or UPC number.

We can only change orders that have not been processed for shipping yet. Feel free to contact us by email, so we can make changes. Once your order is under the "shipped" status we cannot accept any edits.

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order. Once your order is shipped, we will send you another email to confirm you the expected delivery date as well as the link to track your Kwanzaa order.

We want to get your order to you as quickly as we can. Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of receiving payment (Monday-Friday) and you should expect to receive it two or three days after dispatch. Where available, you can also choose a faster delivery method for each item on your order for an additional fee. Delivery times may vary depending on your selected delivery address, availability of your items, and the time of the day you place your order.

During peak holiday seasons (Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas & Kwanzaa) shipping may take an additional 1-2 business days. Large orders may require additional time before shipping.

Yes, we do! But, we do not accept returns of custom, handmade, or digital items. Other, items can be returned unopened and unused in any way. The request must be made within 14 days of delivery. The item must have been sold on our online store. There is a restocking fee of 25% on returned items for a refund. Return shipping costs including postage are the buyer responsibility.

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, BuyNow Pay Later, Paypal, and Apple Pay.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages once they have been packaged, shipped and you receive a tracking number. If you do not receive your package, please file a claim with the postal service and provide your tracking details.
